The latest in the life of Sheri Winn....well now you can call me Hermana Winn. Because in T-minus 16 days I will be heading out to the MTC to be trained in becoming a missionary. I'm called to serve in the California Los Angeles Mission Spanish Speaking and it also includes me serving at the LA Visitor Center. I'm so exc
ited for this opportunity! It's going to be truly amazing! These past years have been a totally whirlwind! Trying to decide what i needed to do with my life. What i want to be when i grow up.....wait I'm already there! ha ha! But the decision to go on a mission was very hard but i prayed about it hard and i knew i was supposed to go and I'm heading out! My brother Nic Winn is on a mission in Cualican, Mexico! So i think it's really cool because me and three of my brothers will be able to speak spanish behind our families back!! Hee hee! jk love you sister :) But no it's really amazing! And I've had so many amazing experiences since I've had my call with going to the temple and to one of my best friends sealings and being called up to bear my testimony at stake conference! Scariest thing ever! But it was awesome! And have such an amazing stake president that has really helped me change my attitude about everything! Than my roommate and good friend Megan Hanselman got called to my same mission but only that hers is English speaking! But isn't that just crazy! And one of my best friends Kenzie Lawlor got her mission call to the Omaha, Nebraska Winter Quarters Mission! And we get to be in the MTC together! She only comes two weeks after i enter! It's truly amazing! Well i enter the MTC March 31st and won't be back till around October 2011! But hopefully i will post another note before
